Wedding Car Hire Milan: New Rules to Follow
Weddings are starting again and Vip Limousine Milan is at your side
After months and months of waiting, weddings are finally starting up again and, with them, so is our wedding car rental service. At last, all those who have been forced to postpone their wedding or have decided to wait before setting the date can concentrate on organising this special day.
While the bride and groom have to take care of the dress, the guest list and the various locations, we can help with the choice of a luxury car to take you to the ceremony and reception venues, thanks to our wedding services.
At Vip Limousine Milan, we not only specialise in luxury car hire with driver to managers or important personalities, but over the decades we have had the good fortune and honour to be present on the special day of many couples.
The car models are different and we recommend you to come and see them and select the one you prefer. Whichever one you choose, you will have a professional driver at your disposal for the whole day who will take you wherever you wish: not only to the church or the town hall, but also to various locations for a photo book, perhaps to some club for a special aperitif, to your home for a change of clothes and, of course, to the reception.
Despite this green light for weddings and other ceremonies, there are still some rules and precautions that everyone is expected to observe. In the hope of making your life easier when organising your wedding, today we want to talk about the measures that you will need to respect during your special day.
How to organise Covid free weddings in 2021?
The first thing to know is that these rules, and in particular the protocol for receptions, have been approved by the technical-scientific committee that has been monitoring the evolution of the pandemic for months now, suggesting to the entire population the virtuous behaviours to adopt.
Here are the rules for weddings that will be valid until a later date.
What about your guest?
No ceiling has been set on the number of guests you can have at your wedding. However, this does not entitle the bride and groom to call up hundreds of people and seat them in small, unsuitable spaces. Before confirming your guest list, always make sure that the space at the reception venue is suitable to accommodate so many people or if it is not, you should make some important changes.
All guests must come to the ceremony and banquet with a green pass, a certificate of vaccination, recovery from Covid or a negative Covid swab taken within 48 hours before the event.
The green pass is still a tricky subject, as not everyone understands how to use it or when it will be issued. For marriage, it is sufficient to know that this certificate is valid 15 days after receiving at least the first dose of vaccine.
The green certificate must be possessed not only by the guests, but also by the bride and groom: this will allow them to enjoy a beautiful day without the fear of becoming infected.
Needless to say, all other precautionary measures remain in place:
- Obligation to wear surgical masks or masks with superior protection at all times;
- Social distancing;
- Hand sanitisation;
- Temperature measurement, which must always be below 37.5°C.
Location: ceremony and banquet
Where is it allowed to celebrate the wedding? And where is it forbidden? Here we admit that there is some confusion, often generated by the frenzy and stress of organising the big day.
Although indoor receptions are not forbidden, the open-air solution is to be preferred whenever possible. In this case, in addition to wearing masks and keeping your distance, it is essential to ventilate the room as much as possible.
So if you are dreaming of organising the banquet inside a splendid old villa, don't worry, you can do it, but remember to keep the windows and doors open!
The tables for the reception must be at least 2 metres apart and, if the location allows it, it is better to increase this distance to 2.5 metres. The same attention must be paid to the distance between the guests: forget about overcrowded tables, but keep the distance to at least one metre.
Now let's talk about the type of banquet. Due to the Covid, the self-service buffet is currently suspended, and only service by wait staff is permitted. They, in turn, must observe the same precautionary rules as the guests (masks, frequent hand sanitisation and temperature control).
Organising the party
As we all know, at any self-respecting wedding reception there is always some entertainment, music and at least one photographer to capture it all.
If you can't do without a live band, there should be three metres between the stage and the audience. This is essential to avoid dripping saliva on your guests during the songs.
Dancing is not forbidden, but only if you do it outside. Inside you can only dance with organised dances and for each guest you must provide 2 square metres of space and, of course, ventilate the room in question as much as possible.
Photographers must always wear masks and maintain a safe distance from guests and the bride and groom.
Sugared almonds and favours may not be served in a serif service, but the bride and groom must give each guest their own favours after having sanitised their hands.
Luxury car hire Milan for an unforgettable wedding
For some people these rules may seem too strict, for others they will ruin the big day planned over years of living together. Aware of how difficult it is to make some renunciations for your wedding, we at VIP Limousine Milan are happy that, after a long wait, the possibility of getting married again has finally been unlocked.
Unfortunately, these restrictions are still necessary to eradicate the Coronavirus and prevent a relapse into the nightmare. We at Vip Limousine Milan are also doing our part to preserve the health of our customers.
First of all, all our cars are dedicated: by hiring a luxury car with driver you can be sure that no one else will use the car except you and your driver, thus avoiding possible contamination of the environment. Of course, all our drivers are always supervised, equipped with various masks that they have to change frequently and hand gel to use when they don't have the chance to wash their hands.
Their personal protective equipment, however, will not spoil your wedding: the polyglot drivers of VIP Limousine Milan all adhere to a strict dress-code that makes them look elegant and appropriate in every situation, even for your wedding!
Our fleet is so extensive that you are sure to find the car of your dreams. The cars of Vip Limousine Milan are all elegant, comfortable and, above all, safe. Our luxury chauffeur-driven cars are all Mercedes Benz and are changed every 2 years, or before reaching 20,000 km.
Want some advice? If you like clean, sporty and slightly aggressive lines, we recommend our Mercedes E-Class 220 Sportive. If you want to have a wedding in style and travel in a car that is unique in the world, we offer you our flagship Mercedes S-Class 560 Sel 4 Matic, a real gem that will make your wedding even more special.
