Even if it seems still unbelievable, after months, if not years, of doubts, confusion and delays, finally on May the 1st began the most important event of the year Expo Milan 2015, and it will last until October 31, 2015. This event of worldwide importance is entirely dedicated to the topic of nutrition and its core theme, already universally recognized, is “Feeding the planet, energy for life”.

Many events, cultural activities, meetings, exhibitions are officially part of the Expo, and many other events organized outside the official site but regarding as well the subject of nutrition and Life, will took place in the next months.

Milan Fashion Week

During the period of Expo 2015 in Milan, there will be two appointments devoted to fashion, one of the distinguishing factors of Milan since 1979, more than 35 years ago. In fact, before that year, Italian fashion was referred to Florence and Rome. By 1979, instead, with the catwalks in Milan of Krizia, Armani, Ferrè, Missoni and Fendi, and many others, began a new world of catwalks, fashion, glamour, showcases, that are now part of the Milanese spirit, making Milan the world capital of prêt-à-porter.

From June 20 to 23 2015 we can enjoy Milano Moda Uomo, the fashion week dedicated to menswear collection, while from September 23 to 29 will be the turn of Milano Moda Donna, the fashion week dedicated to women’s collection: relying in Vip Limousine will mean having at your disposal a car rental service with a driver who will take care of every detail of your stay. Closing Expo 2015 Milan

Goodbye expo 2015!!!

The biggest and the most awaited event in 2015 came to a end recently and on 31st October 2015 was celebrated the closing ceremony to greet "Expo Milan 2015".

The event, focused on the theme of nutrition and food from all around the world, brought in our country a mix of amazing and fascinating different cultures. During the six months of Expo, 21 and half millions people visited it. The Expo Closing Ceremony at the Open Air Theater with bands, fireworks, masks took place at the presence of several important guests, including Sergio Mattarella, President of the Italian Republic, Matteo Renzi, the Italian Prime Minister, Giuliano Pisapia, Mayor of Milan, Roberto Maroni, President of the Region Lombardia, and Giuseppe Sala, the one who summed up this great event. Many celebrities and world leader visited this exhibition such as Michelle Obama, Angela Merkel...

Reopening Of Expo Milan 2016

Expo Milan 2016 Friday  May 27th, 2016 reopens the area dedicated to Expo Milan 2015. The Tree of Life and the Italian Pavilion will not be removed. The idea of the Municipality of Milan and the owners of the land is to restore this area and use it for events, exhibitions and street food parades, area suitable for children and families with shows and  places where eat and drink.

There will be an area where to practice sports such as football, climbing or basketball. It is planned to install a "global garden" with 150 species of fruit and vegetables that will be grown and then sold in a market, always accessible in the Expo area, encouraging the local horticulture.

The entrance to the area of Rho Fiera, unlike Expo, will be limited to the weekends, from 15.00 to 23.00, but in occasions of major events such as the Europeans football matches or the Olympics games there will be an extraordinary opening. The former Expo area on 25 May will host the concert "Bocelli and Zanetti Night" an international charity event in the Open Air Theater and the show, full of music and colors, will be dedicated to the reactivation of the Tree of Life.
