Expo Milan 2016 Friday  May 27th, 2016 reopens the area dedicated to Expo Milan 2015. The Tree of Life and the Italian Pavilion will not be removed. The idea of the Municipality of Milan and the owners of the land is to restore this area and use it for events, exhibitions and street food parades, area suitable for children and families with shows and  places where eat and drink.

There will be an area where to practice sports such as football, climbing or basketball. It is planned to install a "global garden" with 150 species of fruit and vegetables that will be grown and then sold in a market, always accessible in the Expo area, encouraging the local horticulture.

The entrance to the area of Rho Fiera, unlike Expo, will be limited to the weekends, from 15.00 to 23.00, but in occasions of major events such as the Europeans football matches or the Olympics games there will be an extraordinary opening. The former Expo area on 25 May will host the concert "Bocelli and Zanetti Night" an international charity event in the Open Air Theater and the show, full of music and colors, will be dedicated to the reactivation of the Tree of Life.

The Design Week is coming with "Fuorisalone 2016", together with the 55th edition of "Salone del Mobile 2016", from 12 to 17 April, 2016. But what is Fuorisalone? It is a breeding ground of a series of events taking place in the three main areas of Milan: the "Brera Design District", the "Tortona Design Week" and the "Ventura Lambrate". Settimana del Mobile (the week of furnishing) in Milan (the capital city of design) is a sort of incomparable union of art, made in Italy and crativity. Among the major brands will be participating at this event Kartell, Foscarini, Vaccine, Driade, Davide Groppi: many initiatives, cultural events, workshops and exhibitions are officially a part of the Design Week.

Milan Design week 2016, 55th edition

This year in Milan will take place the 55th edition of the International Furniture Exhibition, from 12th to 17th April 2016. The Salone del Mobile in Milan was established in 1961 to promote design complements and accessoires from all over the world. The Design Week is a point of reference and of promotion for the whole sector and a meeting point for professionals, architects, designers, interior decorators and emerging talents.

The Salone del Mobile will be supported by the biennial EuroCucina (Kitchen furniture) and Salone internazionale del Bagno (Bathroom furniture) and will take place at Milano Rho-Pero exhibition center. This year, for the first time, among the exhibitors you will find also luxury brands as Versace, Cavalli, Fendi, with complements and accessoires marked by their recognizable style; we can also find brands connected with the automotive sector, like Aston martin and Lamborghini.

The UEFA Final Match Champions League 2015-2016 reached its 61st edition and the sale of the tickets is already begun. 
The Champions League Final Match will be played on May, 28th 2016 at Stadium Giuseppe Meazza San Siro in Milan: opening-tip-off at 20.45 (8.45 p.m.).

Tickets can be bought on the official website championsleague.tickets.uefa.com until Monday, March 14th at 18.00 (6.00 p.m.).

The new edition of MIPEL & MICAM 2016 will take place in Fiera di Milano Rho from 14th to 17th February, 2016.
The two expositions are a symbol of quality and creativity in the field of footwear, leather industry and handbags Made in Italy. 
The MICAM will show 1.456 footwear exhibitors, and MIPEL, where we can enjoy the new winter 2016-2017 collections, will present 300 brands of handbags and leather goods full of innovation and experimentation. This footwear is loosely inspired by the artist Gauguin, who drew inspiration from the beauty of nature to create his works: this same feature can be found in the design of Loriblu, which uses warm and romantic colours and the most prestigious raw materials, skillfully crafted by professional craftsmen...

The most awaited event of the year, the "Fashion Week - Milan Women's Fashion 2016", divided in four different events, is coming!
